Stay
Our bedrooms have everything you need for a restful stay. They are individually styled with salvaged treasures, local artwork and cosy textiles. Our comfy beds have generous toppers, soft white cotton linen and traditional welsh blankets from our local woollen mill Melin Tregwynt.
You will find complimentary teas and coffee with a flask of fresh milk supplied daily. Our toiletries are all plant based and vegan. For extra comfort our bedrooms all have their own underfloor heating controls, you can even let us know your preferences before you arrive so it’s just right for you.
All the rooms have smart TVs with Netflix accounts preloaded for each room, a hairdryer, kettle and rechargeable torch. Iron & board available on request.
We have a 2 night minimum stay in peak periods but welcome guests for a single night stay during the quieter spells. Standard check in is 4-7pm, if you need to request check in outside these times please send your request in advance. We are not able to take bookings for new guests coming off the late ferry from Rosslare as it can be disruptive and unfair to our snoozing guests.
Our bedrooms
Mabel has a window seat with views stretching over the millpond towards Llangloffan Fen. The antique king sized bed is super comfy and to help you settle in you will find ample hooks for hanging and a large chest of drawers. The big ensuite bathroom with the same amazing view has a powerful shower over the bath.
Brinley has views stretching over the millpond towards Llangloffan Fen and the little upholstered chair is perfect for hugging a cup of tea. The super comfy king sized bed has an upholstered headboard. There are ample hooks for hanging and a large antique chest of drawers. The en-suite shower room has a walk in monsoon shower.
Barney is our cosiest room under the catslide roof with a gorgeous little cubby window seat looking over the garden. The king sized bed can also be made up as a twin room when requested on booking. Barney’s large bathroom is just across the hallway and up a couple of steps, it has a view over the dairy yard and a powerful shower over the bath. Fluffy robes are provided for the short journey.
The Drawing Room
Pack your slippers and enjoy the comfy sofas by the wood burner, spread out a jigsaw and select an old record to play on the turntable or settle by the library and curl up with a book.
Our library boasts over a thousand titles covering an eclectic range of fact and fiction from shipwrecks to poetry, art, rugby and handicrafts, cook books, thrillers and poetry.
There are stacks of boardgames, decks of cards and a chess set if you are in the mood for a challenge.
Breakfast
Breakfast is freshly prepared and served in the drawing room. Choose from traditional dishes such as a full cooked Hen Ffermdy breakfast with farm fresh eggs, organic overnight oats with fruit compote, nuts and seeds or perhaps vegan spiced beans on toast. Our delicious eggs come from Trebover Farm where the pasture raised chickens are watched over by 3 trusty alpacas.
Exclusive Use
When taking advantage of the exclusive use for your party you can also enjoy an evening meal from the comfort of the farmhouse. Menus and prices tailored to suit your needs, arranged in advance of your stay. We are unlicensed but you are very welcome to bring your own. Sleeps up to 6 plus 2 infants.
