Accessibility

Stairs – all the bedrooms are on the first floor. With an additional 2 steps up to Mabel and Brinley without handrail, Barney’s bathroom is 2 steps up without handrail. We are more than happy to carry luggage up and down the stairs as required. 

Lighting - we are limited with the outside lights we can provide as we are fortunate enough to have 8 species of visiting bats. You are unlikely to see them unless you go looking for them! We supply each room with a rechargeable torch which you are welcome to take out with you. There are emergency lighting torches in the hallway and main entrance.

Parking – there is ample parking in the front yard, guests are welcome to drive around to reception to drop off luggage. 

Exploring – grass paths around the fields are mowed regularly but can be uneven under foot and a little steep in spots. The yard is concreted over with a gentle slope around the house, other areas of the farm yard have steeper slopes and can be slippy when wet. Access to the outbuildings is not allowed at anytime for safety reasons.

Special Dietary requirements - can be catered for if advised in advance of stay. The kitchen is NOT an allergen free zone but we do strictly follow current Environmental Health & Food Safety regulations.

Connectivity – there is BT infinity full superfast fibre wifi throughout the main house and it manages to stretch to the surrounding yard fairly well. There is good 4G coverage locally, if you lose connection on the coastal path it will come back on higher ground.

TV – rooms all have smart with subtitle option all TVs are pre loaded with Netflix, if you don’t have your own account you can log into your bedroom account.

Babies and children – one travel cot and high chair are available to reserve in advance - availability is limited. The millpond is unfenced with a depth up to 6ft. 

Dogs – sadly we can’t take dogs at the moment but we are planning rooms with outside access so we can welcome furry guests.

Outdoor Guest Storage - there is ample storage for your outside gear if you wish to wish to leave them behind for the day.
